A short record of recent conference appearances, promotions, and distribution announcements from UID Identification Solutions.
AALAS — National Meeting
UID Identification Solutions has exhibited at the AALAS National
Meeting in past years, showcasing microchip identification systems,
temperature transponders, RFID readers, and home-cage monitoring
hardware to the laboratory animal science community.
Recent AALAS appearances featured booth demos of the URH handheld
reader series, the UID Mouse Matrix home-cage monitoring system, and
the Controlled Substance Inventory System (CSI-360). The booth has
traditionally been a stop for new and existing customers to ask about
programmable microchips, temperature-capable transponders, and
facility-scale RFID integration.

AALAS 2024 — Reader Promotion
At AALAS 2024, UID ran a registration giveaway for five Reader Kits.
The promotion highlighted three product lines on the booth:
- **Temperature transponders + UID readers** — animal ID and precise
body temperature in a single scan, without rectal probes.
- **UID Mouse Matrix** — continuous, non-invasive home-cage monitoring
for socially housed rodents, with real-time behavior, temperature,
and activity data.
- **Digital animal ID for preclinical research** — tamper-proof IDs
and LIMS integration to reduce manual entry and identification
errors.
The promotion has closed. The product information request form is
still the right next step for anyone evaluating a Reader Kit or any
of the systems above.
AALAS — Video Presentation
Past AALAS appearances have included video presentations covering
UID's temperature microchip workflow and home-cage monitoring
systems. The recorded materials walked through the three-step
workflow — insert temperature microchip with injection cannula, scan
microchip with UID reader, collect temperature and ID from the reader
or upload directly to a computer — and demonstrated additional
products including the UID Mouse Matrix and the Controlled Substance
Inventory System.

Agenda Life Sciences — UK & Ireland Distributor Announcement
Unified Information Devices (UID) selected Agenda Life Sciences as
its exclusive distributor for the United Kingdom and Ireland. The
partnership gives researchers in the region local access to UID's
RFID identification, temperature monitoring, and home-cage solutions,
backed by Agenda's expertise in laboratory animal science and
facility management.

SOT 2021 — Tox EXPO
UID Identification Solutions exhibited at the 2021 Society of
Toxicology (SOT) Tox EXPO in San Diego, CA. The booth focused on
products supporting toxicology research workflows — programmable
microchips, temperature transponders, RFID readers, and the
Controlled Substance Inventory System.
