An AnyCage Lite reader shipped with the 3″ round antenna already paired — the configuration for cages where the rectangular footprint won't fit cleanly. What's in the box

A single-reader, single-antenna kit for adding one cage to an existing AnyCage Lite deployment — or for piloting the system on one cohort before scaling up. UCT-2112 temperature tags and home cages are sold separately.

  • Which AnyCage system does this work with?

    AnyCage Lite. The reader is the Lite generation and pairs with the AnyCage Lite 4-Position Cradle/Hub or runs directly to a PC over USB. It does not replace an AnyCage Plus or Mouse Matrix reader.

  • When should I pick the round antenna over the rectangular?

    Round (3″) suits cages where a 2″ × 5″ rectangle can't sit flush — odd geometries, narrower side panels, or rounded enclosures. Rectangular is the default for standard shoebox cages. If you're undecided, the AnyCage Lite Starter Kit ships both shapes so you can test before committing across a cohort.

  • Are tags included?

    No. UCT-2112 temperature tags and the implant injector are sold separately. If you're starting from zero, the AnyCage Lite Starter Kit bundles four reader/antenna pairs plus 24 tags and an injector.

  • Can I run multiple of these on one PC?

    Yes. Add the AnyCage Lite 4-Position Cradle/Hub to power and aggregate up to four readers into a single DataCollector instance. No license change required.
