Each reader scans for the implanted UID UCT-2112 temperature microchip continuously and reports timestamped ID, temperature, and antenna data.

Rectangular profile for standard cages. Swaps onto an existing reader in place of the round antenna.

How many animals can this kit monitor at once?
Up to 24 — one UCT-2112 implant per animal, distributed across up to four home cages. Add more UCT-2112 tags for larger cohorts; readers and antennas scale separately.

Can I expand the kit later?
Yes. Additional UCT-2112 temperature tags, AnyCage Lite readers, antennas, and 4-port cradles are all sold separately. The DataCollector software accepts more readers without a license change.

Is the home cage included?
No. AnyCage Lite is designed to work with the home cages you already use. The kit ships with both 3″ round and 2″ × 5″ rectangle antennas to fit common cage formats.
