Which color cable do I need?
If you're running AnyCage Lite, green — it's the only color the Lite reader accepts, at 1 m (3 ft). On AnyCage+ the color is a length choice: blue at 0.5 m for a reader mounted tight to the cage, green at 1 m as the standard, and pink at 2 m when the reader has to sit farther away.

Can I put a blue or pink cable on an AnyCage Lite reader?
No. Blue and pink are AnyCage+ cables. AnyCage Lite accepts the green 1 m cable only, so green is what you order for Lite readers whether you're replacing a cable or adding a reader and antenna.

Is this the same cable as the 2-meter UAC-2M?
No. The UAC-2M is for the Microchip Reader Base Station and Base Console, and it uses different connectors. These cables are specific to AnyCage readers.

Will this work with the AnyCage Lite starter kit antenna?
Yes — the green 1 m cable is what's included in AnyCage Lite configurations, including the starter kit. Order it when you need a replacement, or when you're adding another reader and antenna to an existing setup.

I'm getting intermittent reads. Is the cable the problem?
Often, yes. A kinked or pinched cable, or a connector that's been bent, produces exactly that symptom. Swapping in a known-good cable is the cheapest first troubleshooting step, before you suspect the antenna or the reader. On AnyCage+, also confirm the cable is the right length for the cage's layout.
