  • Which microchip fits our patients?

    TraqPaw is a standard 2.1 × 12 mm microchip for dogs, cats, and other companion animals. For smaller patients or protocols that call for a smaller implant, UID also offers the 1.4 × 8.5 mm UC-1485.

  • What does "pre-registered" mean?

    Each TraqPaw chip number is associated with your clinic before shipment. At the visit, use the included registration materials to add the owner's contact information through Pet Registration and Recovery.

  • Which reader fits our practice?

    Use the PetScan URH-2 ISO for routine chairside scans. Choose the URH-300HP-ISO when longer read range or FDX-B and HDX support matters for large-animal or field work.

  • Does the CSI-360 integrate with our PIMS?

    CSI-360 reads patient records from Shepherd, Vetspire, Digitail, and other PIMS platforms, so staff can select the patient instead of retyping the case. Ask us to confirm your system during planning.

  • Can CSI-360 work with our current cabinet?

    Often, yes. CSI-360 can be installed with an existing compliant cabinet, safe, refrigerator, or freezer. UID can review your storage and quote either a retrofit or a complete setup.
