UID is seeking a Veterinary Product Specialist to support customer training, implementations, product demonstrations, and ongoing product development for our veterinary technology products.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role for someone who understands veterinary workflows, learns technology quickly, communicates well, and is comfortable solving problems independently.
Veterinary Practice Managers, Lead Veterinary Technicians, Technician Supervisors, RVTs/CVTs/LVTs, and other experienced veterinary professionals are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
- Lead customer installations, onboarding, and training for UID veterinary products such as CSI-360 and TraqPaw
- Provide ongoing customer support and troubleshoot product, workflow, hardware, and basic IT issues
- Participate in pre-sales product demonstrations with prospective customers
- Help Sales understand customer workflows, needs, and pain points
- Collect customer feedback and identify opportunities for product improvements
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to communicate customer needs and technical issues
- Identify veterinary industry trends and emerging customer needs
- Help Marketing translate product features into clear customer benefits, messaging, and use cases
- Improve training materials, support documentation, and implementation processes
- Occasionally participate in trade shows or industry events
- Take an occasional customer call outside normal business hours (typically 1โ2 times per month)
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in veterinary medicine, veterinary practice operations, animal health, life sciences, or a related field
- Experience training, mentoring, onboarding, or educating others
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable learning and explaining new technology
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Organized and able to manage multiple customers and priorities
- Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical users
Bonus Points
- Experience as a Veterinary Practice Manager, Hospital Manager, Lead Veterinary Technician, or Technician Supervisor
- RVT, CVT, LVT, CVPM, or related veterinary credential
- Experience managing controlled substances, inventory, DEA compliance, or controlled-drug workflows
- Experience with veterinary practice management software (PIMS) such as ezyVet, Cornerstone, AVImark, ImproMed, Pulse, Vetspire, Shepherd, or similar systems
- Experience implementing new software, equipment, or workflows in a veterinary practice
- Experience creating SOPs or training materials
- Familiarity with Salesforce, JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, or hardware
Education
Degree in Veterinary Technology, Animal Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field preferred.
Relevant veterinary industry experience may be considered in place of a specific degree.
Location
- Full-time, on-site in Kenosha, WI
- Less than 5% travel expected
