Everything you need to start tagging, paired to your species.
The kit pulls together the four pieces you carry to the field: FDX-B ISO-compliant tags, a 10-shot multi-injector fed from a refillable cartridge, an empty cartridge for reloading between sites, and a portable reader for scanning recaptures. You pick the tag size by species and life stage; the rest of the kit stays the same.
- 1.4 × 8.5 mm tag fits juvenile salmonids and small-bodied species where a 12 mm tag would compromise retention or survival.
- 2.1 × 12 mm tag is the standard for adult game fish, with longer read range in flowing water or on antenna arrays.
- Same hardware either way — the injector, cartridge, and reader are configured to the tag size you choose.
