Will this charge URH-2 batteries?
No. This charger is sized for the Li-Ion batteries used in the URH 1-series (URH-1HP, URH-1L). The URH-2 uses internal batteries and has its own charging dock.

Can I leave batteries in the charger long-term?
The smart charge cycle terminates when batteries are full, so it's safe to leave them docked. For long-term storage of unused batteries, follow standard Li-Ion practice by keeping them at partial charge in a cool location and checking on them periodically.

Are spare batteries sold separately?
Yes. Replacement Li-Ion batteries for the URH 1-series are available as a separate SKU. If your reader battery life is dropping below a useful shift length, the battery is usually the first thing to replace — not the reader. Contact us for current pricing.
