This study tested whether dietary grape powder could offset effects of a high-fat Western-pattern diet in female C57BL/6J mice. Grape supplementation substantially altered liver gene-expression pathways related to oxidative stress, detoxification, and fatty-acid handling, reduced non-alcoholic fatty liver changes, and was associated with longer survival.
