Cold- and TRPM8-dependent shaking in mammals and birds

A new TRPM8 agonist evoked wet-dog-like shakes in rodents and birds, and experiments in water-sprayed mice showed that shake onset depended on TRPM8, supporting a shared cold-wetness sensing mechanism across these groups.
