CSI-360's Fast Workflow Is Perfect for Your Specialty and Emergency Team
Specialty and emergency teams need medication access fast. The CSI-360 fast cabinet workflow is built around quick transactions when your patients need it most.
-
Fast Access
CSI-360's 20-second transaction workflow means opening the cabinet without slowing the team down.
-
Patient Lookup
Staff select the patient from Shepherd, Vetspire, Digitail, and more instead of typing the details manually during a high-pressure handoff.
-
Multiple Cabinets, One System Across Every Department
UID can plan cabinet locations across the ER, ICU, surgery, and pharmacy so controlled-substance activity is managed in one system instead of several logs.
-
A Complete Record Before the Next Patient
The user, patient, item, amount, notes, and time are saved as the transaction happens, so there's no end-of-shift reconstruction to piece together.
Add CSI-360 to the Storage You Already Use
CSI-360 combines electronic access, RFID item identification, a digital scale, and touch-screen software at the cabinet. It can be added to most DEA-compliant storage or supplied as a complete system.
- Confirm the fit — Tell us the make and model of your cabinet, safe, refrigerator, or freezer.
- Keep patient lookup at the cabinet — Staff can select records read in from Shepherd, Vetspire, Digitail, and more.
- Review reports in one place — Inventory, activity, and user-access history stay together in CSI-360.
Specialty and Emergency Questions
-
How fast is a CSI-360 transaction?
CSI-360 is designed around a 20-second transaction workflow. Actual time can vary by configuration and the details a practice requires, but basic transactions can occur very quickly — no PIMS entry needed.
-
Can we put cabinets in several departments?
Yes. Multiple CSI-360 cabinets can be networked so users, inventory, and activity are managed in one system. UID can help plan locations around the ER, ICU, surgery, pharmacy, and other services.
-
Can two people be required before the cabinet opens?
Yes. Multi User Authentication can require two approved users to sign in before the cabinet opens, with both sign-ins saved in the audit trail.
-
Does it show which clinician accessed a medication?
Yes. Individual sign-in creates a user-access history, and each saved transaction includes the user, item, amount, notes, and time.
